Alright!

The kids are back in school... and its time for some more grown-up fun things to do.

Since money is tight, I look for free or nearly free activities around Nashville. Last week a friend and I went to Nashville's main library, downtown for a lunchtime concert featuring the 3 tenors of Take 6. Take a listen:

This week I want to check out their next free concert featuring Annie Sellick. Just bring your lunch and enjoy live music:

Do you know of any fun free or nearly free events in the Nashville area? Let me know.

What do you do for fun?

This is the question that recently stumped me. I thought and thought and couldn't come up with a single thing that I did for fun. Between work and housework and kids and projects I'm working on I don't really take time to do much that I consider fun.

It's a shame... and I'm making some changes.

This month, the kids and I:

*Went to the Renaissance Festival
*Attended the Puppet Festival
*Enjoyed the Free Day of Music at the Schermerhorn

If you are still wondering what *you* do for fun... check back often. I plan to post the events I find (in local papers, online and through word of mouth) right here!

If you want to get out and have some fun in Nashville... as the Nike ads say... JUST DO IT!
